221 Arch & Grace travelled from Brisbane to the Atherton Tablelands via Cairns in 1919 after their marriage on a motorbike with a sidecar when the roads were little better than a goat track. It had to be a mamoth achievement. They worked the farm until they retired to live in Atherton. Uncle Arch harvested trees from the dairy & milled the timber himself to build their home in the strret just behind the Atherton High School ovals. He lived there with Aunty GRace until she had to be institutionalised in Goodna in Brisbane. He stayed there until his death.
They had no children

228 As Alice is a widow, her husband is potentially John TOLL, who died in 1550. They are the first two TOLLs listed in the Lameton Burial Register.
It is possible she was the widow of an earlier male TOLL who died before 1540, but that seems rather unlikely. She has been paired with John, pending evidence of a better candidate.
